FRANYA WAIDE, ASID
Franya Waide, ASID is a graduate of Auburn University – School
of Architecture with a degree in Interior Design. Franya is a
member of the American Society of Interior Designers, and is a
registered designer in the State of Georgia.
She incorporated her interior design business in 1976, and in
1986 expanded her design business to be a direct importer of
European antiques, mirrors, and accessories as well as Dutch
and Victorian oil paintings.
 She
has handled extensive design projects in Alabama,
Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, Texas, Connecticut,
Illinois and of course, Georgia, where she finished a large
condominium in the new Park Avenue building in Atlanta.
She has participated in several Atlanta Symphony Decorator
Showhouse’s, as well as organizing a Tour of Homes for the
Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School.
Her work has been published in Better Homes & Gardens, Town &
Country, Interior Design, Peachtree Magazine, Atlanta
Magazine, Presenting The Seasons, Women’s Wear Daily, Showcase
of Interior Designers, Veranda Magazine, and Atlanta Homes and
Lifestyles where she won the award for the “Best Special
Area”.
